Hi Friends and Neighbors!
For your convenience, scroll to the bottom to request yard signs. And keep reading, for ways to connect with me. The better I know you, the better I can represent you. That is my main focus, other than to ask that you please elect me!
I would like your support in electing me towards my next-level of service to the residents of Rossmoor. Voting for me, as one of your representative voices on the Rossmoor CSD Board of Directors, just makes sense! I talk with so many of you every day, and I talk about you as I move about the county engaging with others, seeking additional partnerships and better opportunities for our community and neighboring communities, beyond Rossmoor.
As a longstanding community volunteer, I continually say thank you for the life and friendships I inherited and enjoy. I married into an “original owner” family in 1994 and have grown to love to this community more and more ever since. It is true, as they say, that "to whom much is given, much is expected."
You can expect me to do much, much more for our community because Rossmoor's legacy for what we have become is too special to not invest even more, and becoming even more, isn't a dream, it's inevitable - because it's our identity.
Rossmoor started as only a vision - But it became a community as the hopes, dreams, visions, and infrastructure progressed. Our original reality was agricultural fields, empty lots, and our parks that were simply dirt fields. But our early residents, partnering with businesses, agencies, and organizations, knew how to carry a vision forward and together and they created the community we have today.
Yet, the hopes and dreams of Rossmoor as a "family" is not our past -- it is our legacy. This community is something to be proud of - no question about that. But working together, visions become ever-clearer, dreams get better, and it all comes together as blueprints to form the tangible parts of our lives - and the backdrops for our memories. Our roadmap forward must have the same clarity of vision that much like before, can only be truly represented by those who invest their families' time here. We were not given cameras to remember the past, but rather, like those before us, we inherited a thirst to sketch, to plan, and carry on for years to come.
Please visit my Issues page, if you want a better idea of what you can expect, in working with me and my Meet Mary Ann page shares a little bit about me. My Community Involvements page comes as close as I can get to illustrating how things all come together, and of course, my Candidate Statement is available, too. By seeking information and opportunities through outreach, I am more effective at engaging interest and learning opportunities in our community. Knowledge is growth and health.
A vote for me, is a vote for the future of Rossmoor - our future. As I keep my eyes and actions on our parks, the community happenings, our District and the services the District's administration and staff provides, I will make sure to ask the hard questions to hold the District accountable to managing and implementing what our Rossmoor families wanted (and continue to want) as authorized by our community's voters in 1987, and pledged with our tax dollars. And I will carry your voices forward with me in all of my representative visions. For those who already know me, nothing will change in what I consider important, and what I do: I will continue reviewing, monitoring, and discussing items of the day - current events of the District -- with my neighbors and beyond, and seeking your input - even more!
The only difference is that I will have your formalized approval to represent you. You can rest assured, with our continually strengthening relationships, I will speak up confidently, knowing that my one vote, represents and reflects our one commUNITY.
Mostly though:
Please visit my other campaign spaces and reach out to help. Reaching is connecting. No contribution is too small - and I'm talking about more than money. Money buys the gas, so we don't come up short of our destination. But people are the engine, and I need your voices and your votes. Please put me onto our CSD board of directors, and recommend to all your neighbors and housemates that I need their votes for me, too. Mostly stay in touch though, and stand beside me while we envision and plan what our children's Rossmoor will be for their children and beyond. It's time, and we are better together. Let's do it!
Thanks again, for your continued support!
